Trail Blazer Russet is a new early season dual use russet with a medium to large vine released from North Dakotah State University
It shows promise to replace the Norkotah. It is high yielding with uniform tubers. It has resistance
to verticilium wilt, sugar ends, cold induced sweetening, pink rot and field resistance to late blight.
It has long dormancy in storage and high specific gravity (1.091 average) It has a weakness of some suceptibility to black spot bruising.
